RE: Call for Candidates – Board of Directors
Dear Fox Point Resident(s),
This year’s Annual Meeting of the Fox Point Homeowners Association will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with sign-in beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Annual Meeting will be held at the Fox Point Clubhouse, 6120 Blackstone Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22407. Please mark this date on your calendars.
At the Meeting, new members will be elected to the Fox Point Board of Directors to fill three (3) open positions; one (1) position is currently vacant, and two (2) will become vacant at the end of this year. As such, the Board would like to invite all qualified residents interested in serving the community to submit their Nominating Petitions. At the conclusion of the election process, the two candidates with the highest number of votes will serve three-year terms on the Board, while the candidate with the third-highest number of votes will fill the current vacant position and serve a two-year term.
To be eligible to serve on the Fox Point Board of Directors, a resident must be an Owner, the spouse of an Owner, an Owner’s tenant, an officer, trustee, general partner (or officer/partner of the general partner), or agent of an Owner or, the Declarant (or designee of the Declarant), or a Mortgagee in possession (or designee of the Mortgagee in possession). Additionally, all applicants must be in good standing with the Association. For a complete list of eligibility requirements, please refer to Article 5, Section 5.3(a) of the Fox Point Articles of Incorporation. The Articles can be found on the Fox Point website at foxpointva.com or by logging into the Fox Point Homeowner Portal.
If you feel you are qualified and ready to volunteer, please complete the your 2025 Fox Point Board Nominating Petition and submit it to the General Manager no later than Wednesday, November 12, 2025, prior to the start of the Board of Directors meeting at 7:00 p.m. Your Nominating Petition must be signed by five (5) other Fox Point Owners. For full information regarding the nomination process, please refer to Article 5, Section 5.3(b) of the Articles of Incorporation.
